How We Built a 100% Unique Recruiting List for a European Client

Clients Background:
A European recruiting firm recently contacted us to build a list of highly targeted potential leads to grow their hiring. They wanted a list of high-potential companies and decision-makers and set strict criteria.
Requirements:Â
We had to follow these requirements for list building:
No Facebook job ads – Other job portals were acceptable.
Minimum 3 open jobs per company.
No HR consultancies, marketing, or ad agencies.
German websites only – No English sites or 0800 numbers.
Company size: 0-5,000 employees – Smaller ones needed 3 open, qualified jobs.
Website names listed without .de, .com, etc.
CEO/Board members only – Max 2 names from the imprint with a German phone number.
No duplicate leads – Must be unique from their 22,000+ database.
No low-cost/part-time jobs – Excluded cleaners, cooks, waiters, hotel staff, etc.
Challenges:
The biggest challenge was to ensure uniqueness while maintaining accuracy. They gave us a list of 22,000+ leads and wanted all new leads to be unique. But manually finding these specific leads was a time-consuming and demanding task; plus, leads had to be accurate and consistent, so we had to pay very close attention to details.
Our Approach:Â
We had to follow strict criteria, so we did it manually without using any Automation. We followed a systematic approach that helped us maintain the quality of our work. Here’s what we did:
Step 1: Lead SourcingÂ
We manually searched through different job boards like stepstone.de, indeed.de, and monster.de to identify potential companies.
Step 2: Data VerificationÂ
We cross-checked every lead on Google and LinkedIn to confirm CEO details and vacancies. If a company didn’t meet all 9 criteria, we didn’t add it.
Step 3: Contact Info validation
We used Lusha to find phone numbers and Million Verifier to validate emails, ensuring accuracy.
Step 4: Quality Control & Final Check
Before submitting the file, we checked every data against their 22,000+ lead list to ensure they are 100% unique.
Step 5: Submission & Revisions
After submission, the client gave us three rounds of feedback to adjust small details and finally approved.
The Challenges We Overcame:Â
The project was done manually, so it was very time-consuming. But we stayed committed and delivered exactly what he needed. We ensured high-quality leads that met their needs, we saved their time, and we did the project at an affordable price.
Results & Client Feedback:Â
Our Clients were very satisfied with the quality of our work. They loved how we followed their exact specifications and delivered quality data without missing any criteria. They approved the final list and showed interest in working with us on future projects.
Conclusion:
This project showed our ability to manage complex lead generation tasks with accuracy and efficiency. We followed a detailed process to give our client high-quality recruiting leads that met all their needs.
